Why? Because Amazon.com has fantastic discounts and really competitive pricing. They also offer free shipping for most products so you don’t actually pay extra. I’ve noticed that Amazon’s prices are often cheaper than retail stores (yes, I’ve compared) which makes it even better, considering you don’t have to waste your time going down to the mall.
One more key point to note is that Amazon has a huge range of electric knife sharpeners unlike retail stores where you’ll only find 3 or 4 models on the shelf. This is really helpful when you want to specifically purchase a certain model because of its features. I’ll go into detail on this in my reviews.

The Chef’s Choice 120 Diamond Hone 3-Stage Professional Knife Sharpener is also recommended for its quality.

It sharpens all kinds of knives from normal to Asian type knives as well as hunting and pocket knives in the matter of seconds. The Chef’s Choice 320 Multi-Stage Compact is a smaller scale version that takes up lesser counter space.
Wusthof Professional-Grade electric knife sharpeners produces professional grade electronic knife sharpener for the home. Wusthof also boosts the uses of diamond-hone rotating wheels that will sharpen both sides of the blade. Wusthof electric knife sharpeners also adds a nice touch of adding two modes of sharpening: ‘Coarse’ and ‘Fine’. ‘Coarse’ sharpening is for blades that have been deprived of sharpening for a long while while the ‘Fine’ mode is made for sharpening everyday ordinary kitchen knives.

Both of them are excellent. The Presto is cheaper but if I had to choose only ONE electric knife sharpener, I’ll go with the Chef’s Choice 120. I’ve owned this professional knife sharpener for 4 years and it’s still working as good as before. It’s extremely durable so the cost is well worth it. Great value-for-money sharpener and I highly recommend it.
